- Wash hands frequently
With soap and water, or use the hand sanitizer, and wash for at least 20 seconds. (kills viruses on your hands.)
- Maintain Social Distancing
Maintain at least 6 feet (2 meters) distance between each other. (Reduce the chance to get the viruses if that person has the disease.)
- Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
Hands can transfer viruses to eyes, nose and mouth. Then the viruses can easily enter your body.
- Cover coughs and sneezes
Droplets spread the virus. Cover your nose and mouth with tissue paper while coughing or sneezing, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands.
- Wear mask or cloth face
When in public, wear a cloth face or face mask covering over your nose and mouth. You could spread COVID-19 to others even if you do not feel sick. The cloth face cover is meant to protect other people in case you are infected.
- Clean and disinfect
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
- Monitor Your Health Daily
Be alert for symptoms. Watch for fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms of COVID-19. Stay home when you are sick, except to get medical care
